Port to Pajinka

Who are we? Let us introduce ourselves: Jamie Candler - a 32 year old native of Far North Queensland (Cairns). I am an avid runner, an amateur ultra endurance athlete and in my professional life, I work with Indigenous youth from across Cape York, the Torres Strait and the Groote Archipelago (Northern Territory) in the Education/Wellbeing space.
Ashley Currie - a 30 year old native of Far North Queensland (Newell Beach). Ash is a keen spearfishermen, runner and an amazing partner to his beautiful fiancée Madonna and father to a beautiful girl Sailah. In his professional life Ash is a Senior Constable in the Queensland Police Service.
What is the project?
Name: Port 2 Pajinka
Distance: 1000kms
Dates: June 18th to July 11th
Port 2 Pajinka will be a journey of 1000kms covering the length of Cape York traversed on foot by myself plus childhood friend and Far North Queensland local Ash Currie - running from our hometown of Port Douglas to the northernmost tip of mainland Australia (Pajinka).
